Working with South Africa’s Medical Bureau for Occupational Diseases and Compensation Commissioner, we are researching more efficient approaches, including computer-aided detection, to assess miners for occupational lung disease. We also traveled to Lesotho in exploring field sites. Read More
GHRP team working with colleagues in Mozambique
Our team has been working with colleagues at the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane in Mozambique on evaluating the use of portable X-rays and computer aided detection in the field for assessing ex-miners for lung disease. We also are working in Eswatini on gender issues. Read More
Researching social circus relation to well-being and equity
The Social Circus and Health Equity project is now entering its second year. Research team members traveled to Ecuador in November 2014 and February 2015 to observe social circus in action and provide arts-based workshops to participants.
